After two years of monthly Baking/Cooking Demonstrations, hearing that others want a “couples cooking experience,” we have finally got to the point of having something to offer. Please look at our website and let us know what you think. INPUT is always great.
Thanks for supporting our little fine dining establishment, we appreciate you business. Reservations: 719 275-5354, reservations@thecanoncityqueenanne.com or online
With our pilot training class two days away Linda and I are working on the completion of the program handouts. Also, with a purpose to help a couple learn how to prepare and serve one (1) fine dining meal it still requires time in providing valuable handouts, which will help the couple to be successful.
Our rationale for offering this program, Becoming Great Hosts, is the awareness that a lot of couples want to work together and provide fine dining for their family, friends and business customers. There is nothing like the experience of serving a multi-course meal and watching others enjoy their time, experience.
The questionnaire, see below, is a beginning document that focuses Linda and me in preparing specific handouts for the couples desires. We will provide our couples with 1) a meal planning guide/an instrument to help them, in advance, to determine what they will be serving; 2) a shopping list designed around their fine dining meal option, taking away the fear of missing something for the meal preparation; 3) a preparation and serving pert chart (list of activities in a chronological order,) which will lower stress for the one responsible for the kitchen and the one responsible for the serving duties.
Yes, this is a program designed for a couple to serve others; then sit down and enjoy their company. We have learned how important it is to serve others, allowing them to enjoy their time, then getting the opportunity to share with them. It is an unusual concept, however, one that a couple will treasure, once they have done it.
Back to handouts, only two days until the pilot program.
This Saturday, February 26th, from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M., we will be hosting our fourth Baking/Cooking Demonstration for 2011.
