We are in the process of requesting past customers to complete our 1st online customer survey; http://www.thecanoncityqueenanne.com and the responses are coming in.
While we always ask customers if they had a good time, if their meal was satisfactory, there is nothing like a blind survey (we have no idea who is responding to our survey,) to get some real truth and great input.
We are hearing a request for our menu to be expanded to include more healthy choices, ie gluten free and diabetic options, which we will respond to in future menus.
We are learning that “Friends to Friends, word of mouth advertising,” is without a doubt the advertising vehicle keeping our doors open. And that brings us to requesting you please forward our monthly email newsletters to a family member, friend, business associate or customer if you are in business.
We have learned that the vast majority of past customers plan a return to the Queen Anne, especially for a special event, ie anniversary, birthday, special occasion; so “please go ahead and let us know if we can help in planning an event for you, there is no cost and we can do email invitiations, etc.”
A sad finding is it appears our three year old program, “Baking/Cooking Demonstrations,” are not going to be a requested activity, by past customers. For all of those years these special events like “The Art of Pie Making; The Art of Grilling,” seemed to meet a need of our customers, however, survey responses indicate there is little interest at this time. This is very sad as it has been a wonderful time getting to know our customers and testing out all those goodies was fun also.
We will share more survey responses, as they come in. If you are a past customer please take the time to complete the online survey (there is an incentive tied to the response, smile.)
Don’t forget our traditional Sit Down Thanksgiving Dinner will be Thursday, November 24th, 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. seatings.
