Sometimes we know the customer who is making the reservation and sometimes we don’t, until they come through the front door.
Anyone who serves the public and only sees them a few times per year understands that the old brain computer goes on overload when they arrive at your door and want to be greeted as old customers, friends and it takes awhile to remember details.
Last night was an example, we know this young couple who has been here a number of times, in fact, we believe we have served both parents as they visited Canon City, CO. After getting comfortable and overhearing some of their conversations (just part of the job,) we could remember them being here before.
What an honor to have served this young couple and both of their parents, it gives us a warm feeling that they would bring family, loved ones to the Queen Anne. Thank you for trusting us and returning.
Valentines is filling up and the help is lined up, so all we need to do now is make sure inventory is ready, facility up to speed, seating is correct and confirm their entree’s. This is our 5th Annual Valentine’s Sweet Heart High/6 course Tea, where we provide fine dining and a host of treats; framed, color photograph, rose, chocolate covered strawberries and a special, very special dessert. We just love to watch people become “lovers,” on Valentines.
