Tomorrow night is the 5th Annual Valentines “Sweet Heart,” High/6 course dinner at the Canon City Queen Anne. While the event is sold out, which is an annual occurance, it will be interesting to see how the Antiques/Tea Treasures Retail Store will be received (we opened the store in September, 2011.)
Will that special loved one step into the store and find that special treasure, to remember 2012 Valentines. During Christmas we were serving a High/5 course Dinner Tea to a table of six, when a man wandered into the store and saw a perfect $350.00 tea set for six, telling us to wrap it up. Then he went to his wife and asked if it was what she had been talking about; she was elated and said she never had such a wonderful Christmas surprise. That’s the fun part of the store, watching others find that treasure, which will remind them of their time at the Queen Anne.
