Thank You, Queen Anne customers who dined at the Queen Anne, this past week. $5.00 per High/5 course Dinner Tea will be donated to Orchard of Hope Foundation, who helps cancer survivors with treatment expenses. This was an extension of their Gourmet Sampler weekend 1/29/12, which we were honored to participate in.
All most all of our customers did not know of this fund raising effort, however, they were thrilled to know it happened.

As a small business owner we hear the politicians say we are the back bone of America and we try to balance that on the reality that we are as fragile, as fragile can be.
The reality is small businesses compete with large businesses who can withstand more periods of financial distress and they have huge advertising budgets.
So, as a small business we are primarily dependent upon word of mouth advertising and visibility to peoples normal travel routines.
Recently we have had the opportunity to re-connect with some old friends and it brought up the memories of Queen Anne customers coming for fine dining and re-connecting with family and friends.
While serving teas we work hard to not be too curious or involved with table discussions, however, as a server we must be tuned in to someone asking or needing something, thus, there is this dance and balancing act going on in connecting with customers.
