When Linda and I finally got the structure remodel done, the business licensing done, we opened our door to serve others 12/7/07. From the beginning we wanted to find a way to create an environment of going to Grandma’s House for the Holidays, Anniversaries, Birthdays, Special Occassions.

We are approaching our 3rd year anniversary, 12/17/2007-12/17/2010 and would love to have you rate your experience at the Queen Anne Tea House; Afternoon/Lunch Tea, High/5 course Dinner Tea or Special Event, Occassion. please see http://www.teaguide.net/reviews.htm to complete your review.
Linda and I feel extremely blessed to have been open for this period of time, especially since I lost my job at the end of April, ’09. There is nothing more devastating than to work for someone, trust them and then have them destroy their company, customers, family, friends; and unfortunately that is what happened in our case. A man of faith, one of the owners, had an anger, demeaning personality and a wandering eye, resulting in him damaging a whole list of people, and almost taking us down.

The Canon City Queen Anne Tea House is proud to announce a “Free” Music and Window Light Show featuring internationally and locally known classical guitarist, Jim Bosse. During the weekends in November Mr. Bosse’ innovative compositions will be broadcast through our local fm station 107.5 fm. The music has been the inspiration for the creative art in window lighting. The Queen Anne structure is a 1889, three story victorian which curently has had 29 windows lit. The main floor dining rooms are equipped in gold lighting, while the 2nd and 3rd floors are equipped in gold, green and purple lighting. Through computer programming over 5,000 lights are controlled to the music in tempo and style, creating an interesting light show. The light shows operate from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

With the nationwide divisive election behind us we turn our sights towards Veteran’s Day and Thankgiving. May those who have been angered during these times feel they can accept change or perceived victory and move ahead to honor those who have served this great nation, through the military or political systems.

Once again the Queen Anne was honored to serve a 50th wedding anniversary, congratulations Wayne and Jane.
Last Saturday night the English Room in the tea house was filled with a family honoring the efforts of a grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, children and grand children. It was filled with the love for each other and the desire for the evening to be remembered.
As the plan unfolded, over a couple of weeks, it was clear that the family was very close and the efforts were to include touches of love to include candles, flowers, tributes and toasts.
