For those of you who know Linda and me, our desires in serving others at the Canon City Queen Anne, this blog may seem odd; a prayer for our grandson.
However, we know it is critical for us to give thanks for all we have been provided, faith, family, friends, customers and part of that thanks is most of you who have visited the Queen Anne know there is scripture on each table. It is there to remind all of us to give thanks for the many blessings in living in a country that was founded on religious freedom.

Mrs. Linda, the canon city queen anne tea lady did an outstanding job in teaching the secrets to successful pie making. The queen anne english and roman tea rooms were filled to capacity with guests from colorado spring and southern colorado.
The two hour demonstrations was broadcast from the personal, paula deen looking kitchen, to three tea rooms, allowing guests to enjoy hot tea, scones and devonshire cream, from their table.
We want to thank Teresa Farney, Food Editor, Colo Springs Gazette, for her recent newspaper story, explaining her visit to the baking demonstration in Feb. ’10.

St. Patrick’s Day Dinner was a load of fun with guests from Colorado Springs, Cotopaxi, Pueblo and Fremont County; the atmosphere was fun and the dinner winner was Rob, who even had green hair and facial hair, “way to go Rob.” Linda and I sincerely appreciate special events customers as they come to experience fine dining with others and it is always fun.

What a blessing…. watching father’s, a grand father and mother honor a daughter/s with a special dinner prior to the Father/Daughter Dance in Canon City, CO.
There is no doubt that the young ladies see the love of a parent, grandparent, and begin a journey in trusting males; may we never forget the value of a date night with a daugher, grand daughter.
