Mrs. Linda, the canon city queen anne tea lady did an outstanding job in teaching the secrets to successful pie making. The queen anne english and roman tea rooms were filled to capacity with guests from colorado spring and southern colorado.
The two hour demonstrations was broadcast from the personal, paula deen looking kitchen, to three tea rooms, allowing guests to enjoy hot tea, scones and devonshire cream, from their table.
We want to thank Teresa Farney, Food Editor, Colo Springs Gazette, for her recent newspaper story, explaining her visit to the baking demonstration in Feb. ’10.

Linda and I are constantly amazed at how many people are truly caring individuals, especially when they know you are following a dream or desire to serve others. We struggle with local media attention and get blessed by those outside our community, ie teresa with the gazette; mary with the chieftain.
