We have been listening to customers and trying to strategize future fine dining options. Here’s one we have been talking about.
Beginning Sunday “Steak and Fine Dining Buffet Lunch,” between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., reservations necessary, price point $29.99 per adult.
You arrive at your table to receive fresh scones, devonshire cream, jam.
At your leisure move to the fine dining buffet with salad, starch, vegetable choices, while your steak is prepared.
Steak options, 12 oz ribeye or 6 oz filet mignon, marinated, seasoned and grilled to your taste (poultry option: seasoned and baked cornish hen.)
Thursday, 3/3/11 from 5 to 7:30 p.m., the Queen Anne was a participant in the Pueblo Food & Wine Show, which is a fund rasier for United Way. Linda cut 400 strawberries in half, then we hand dipped them in chocolate, finishing just in time to get to the Pueblo Convention Center and set up our display.
The strawberries were displayed and then a drop of Devonshire Cream was placed on top of the strawberry half. We were entered in the dessert category and sure wanted to win, however, we did not, bummer.
It was another great event, allowing us to re-connect with past customers and a wonderful time for Linda and me to get away for an evening, do something for United Way.
