Cost is $30.00 per person (capacity 30,) to include scones, devonshire cream, fresh brewed hot tea, recipes, tips and take home samples. Mrs. Linda, the canon city queen anne tea lady did an outstanding job in teaching the secrets to successful pie making. The queen anne english and roman tea rooms were filled to capacity with guests from colorado spring and southern colorado.
The two hour demonstrations was broadcast from the personal, paula deen looking kitchen, to three tea rooms, allowing guests to enjoy hot tea, scones and devonshire cream, from their table.
We want to thank Teresa Farney, Food Editor, Colo Springs Gazette, for her recent newspaper story, explaining her visit to the baking demonstration in Feb. ’10.
We are completing the 2010 specialty events calendar and adding a whole host of new opportunities for our famous brunches, high 5 course dinner teas. When completed we will post at this site and www.thecanoncityqueenanne.com websites; as well as have printed copies which can be picked up outside by our front door or during a tea.
Our success and the continuation of the tea house is very dependent upon our customers and their word of mouth advertising with family, friends, acquaintances; please share your tea house experience.

Since we open the Canon City Queen Anne Tea House and Special Events Center, 12/10/07, we have been asked to share the story of our personal journey and the creation of the business/ministry of hospitality and encouragement. Amazingly this journey has taught us more about accepting diversity in others, and how to cope with difficult times, than just serving fine dining.
