The Queen Anne “Fine Dining,” Experience
Travel to historic downtown Canon City, Colorado and enter a time with loved ones that is a memorable experience.
Arrive at the Queen Anne and immediately be reminded of the 1880′s as the Macon Avenue block has many historical structures.
Step on the wrap around veranda and visualize victorian dresses, flowers and top hats.

We have been listening to customers and trying to strategize future fine dining options. Here’s one we have been talking about.
Beginning Sunday “Steak and Fine Dining Buffet Lunch,” between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., reservations necessary, price point $29.99 per adult.
You arrive at your table to receive fresh scones, devonshire cream, jam.
At your leisure move to the fine dining buffet with salad, starch, vegetable choices, while your steak is prepared.
Steak options, 12 oz ribeye or 6 oz filet mignon, marinated, seasoned and grilled to your taste (poultry option: seasoned and baked cornish hen.)

Saturday, April 17th, 2:00 p.m. – “The Art of Quick Breads” with Linda Ballard
Continuing monthly special interest food and beverage classes/demonstrations, The CaƱon City Queen Anne Tea House will host “The Art of Quick Breads,” Saturday, April 17th, 2:00 p.m. Reservations Required, 719 275-5354, phone or text and email: linda@thecanoncityqueenanne.com. Cost is $30.00 per person (capacity 30,) to include scones, devonshire cream, fresh brewed hot tea, recipes, tips and take home samples. The tea house is equipped with a media center system allowing for the broadcasting of the cooking demonstration to the themed tea rooms, allowing guests to enjoy tea and watch the demonstration or join the crew in the demonstration kitchen for more of hands on feeling.
We are completing the 2010 specialty events calendar and adding a whole host of new opportunities for our famous brunches, high 5 course dinner teas. When completed we will post at this site and www.thecanoncityqueenanne.com websites; as well as have printed copies which can be picked up outside by our front door or during a tea.
