Thank you Tammy, for helping with the Saturday, Noon, Afternoon/Lunch Tea at the Canon City Queen Anne.

Mrs. Linda went to the Women of Faith Conference in Denver with our daughter, Karre and daughter-in-law Tina, Friday night and Saturday, leaving me and Tammy to serve Afternoon/Lunch Teas.

Friday wasn’t too bad, only four coming, so we breezed through it without a problem, enjoyed meeting the son who came and paid for it.

Host/Owners, The Canon City Queen Anne

Aged, but maybe not mature...

Recently we had a couple for high/5 course dinner tea who had lived in Canon City over thirty years ago.

As with most customers we spent time detailing our decade journey in finding the Queen Anne, the remodeling and opening of the fine dining facility. They remembered the old house but it did not stick out like it does today; with it’s wrap around veranda, color schemes (mrs. linda the interior designer touch,) and landscaping.

Yum, Mrs. Linda will be doing her thing Sat and Sun, “chocolate is the topic.”

Mrs. Linda, the canon city queen anne tea lady did an outstanding job in teaching the secrets to successful pie making. The queen anne english and roman tea rooms were filled to capacity with guests from colorado spring and southern colorado.

The two hour demonstrations was broadcast from the personal, paula deen looking kitchen, to three tea rooms, allowing guests to enjoy hot tea, scones and devonshire cream, from their table.

We want to thank Teresa Farney, Food Editor, Colo Springs Gazette, for her recent newspaper story, explaining her visit to the baking demonstration in Feb. ’10.
