It began mid-week, May 5th, as we started to see special smiles on some of those attending afternoon/lunch and high/5 course dinner teas.
Those special smiles were mothers being treated by family, friends. The smiles continued through thursday, friday, saturday and culminated yesterday, Sunday/Mother’s Day.
Hooray for those who found a way to make those smiles, thank you the husbands, son’s, daughter’s, extended family and friends, who took it upon themselves to find an event to celebrate, show appreciation and love for mother’s.
To my 91 year old mother, thank you for spending the evening meal with us and your great grandchildren; to Linda who labored all week to prepare such an amazing brunch for all those mothers, we love you and what you do/”tea lady.”
To my daughter, daughter in law, thank you for loving the trinity, your husband, children and all of us; you are setting examples for the next generation.
May those who came to the Queen Anne, we pray your time was special and your smile was extended for another year, we love serving every single one of you, your family.
