Sunday evening, 5/16, the Queen Anne was host to a YMCA feasibility fund raiser and it was a very enjoyable event.
The efforts to continue these activities in fund raising is grueling, however, Robin and Slyvia are such troopers. They know that all good things require extra ordinary efforts and a belief system in what they are doing.
The event was complimented by the enthusiam of young adults serving the five course high tea. It was a pleasure to see these smiling faces and watch their incredible energy go to work (we have never served a high tea in less than two hours and they did it in one and half hours.)
The guests were gracious and interested in the efforts to place a YMCA. I overhead many stating how important their local YMCA was in their life and I agree with that.
Thank you Dr. Bosse, for sharing your musical gifts and sharing your love for classical guitar. Your concert on the veranda was a special highlight and reward for those working on the project and guests. + I have your “The Billy Joel Collection CD” right next to me and plan to wear it out.
Thank you to Linda, Tammy, our chefs for the night, as usual they prepared a timely and delicious meal. Bless you both.
There are very close bonds created when people join together for a good, meaningful cause, thank you to all.
